I. Definition

The Pick, Break-bulk, and Delivery (PBD) service involves clients consolidating multiple shipments (e.g., by container or pallet) for transport to an overseas warehouse. Upon arrival, the warehouse, based on consignee requirements or logistics arrangements, unpacks the consolidated shipment and splits it into individual or smaller batches for separate delivery.

Use Cases:

  1. For Logistics Companies / Overseas Warehouses: (1) Utilize the Jifeng WMS system to meet the needs of different consignees, improve warehouse and logistics efficiency, and ensure accurate and timely delivery to order destinations. (2) Manage billing and financial cost statistics for PBD services. (3) Manage domestic agents (or sub-warehouses) and the PBD service orders they push to the overseas warehouse.

  2. For Cross-border E-commerce Sellers: (Such as FBA sellers, Mercado Libre Fulfillment sellers, or B2B bulk transshipment/wholesale sellers) After goods arrive in the destination country and are picked up by the overseas warehouse or logistics provider: (1) Some goods need direct deconsolidation and delivery to platform warehouses. (2) Some goods require deconsolidation, palletization by destination, and delivery to the final destination. (3) Separately manage PBD service documents, track warehouse PBD inbound/outbound status, logistics tracking, and other information.

This guide explains how to configure billing solutions for clients using the overseas warehouse's PBD outbound services.

II. Operational Guide

(This section would logically follow in your complete docume)

II. Operational Path:

Step 1: Configure PBD (Pick, Break-bulk, and Delivery) Warehouse Storage Fees

Step 2: Configure PBD (Pick, Break-bulk, and Delivery) Business Fees for Container Pickup, Deconsolidation, and Inbound Handling

First, for the Full Container Direct Delivery service, create a custom billing item named "Full Container Direct Delivery Inbound," add the billing rules, and select "Full Container Direct Delivery" as the document type.

Step 3: Configure PBD (Pick, Break-bulk, and Delivery) Outbound Fees (After setting the billing rules, save the rules first, then save the billing strategy.)

Step 4: Configure Client Billing Template

This completes the setup of PBD service fees. When creating an account for a client, you can assign this billing template to them. Fees will be automatically calculated for activities like container pickup, full container direct delivery, deconsolidation, palletization, and inbound processing when PBD orders are generated.
